MILLION DOLLAR MISTAKES
In luxury interiors, mistakes are costly. We have seen clients spend extraordinary sums, only to be left with spaces that feel disjointed or dated within a few years.

The homeowner wanted generosity, comfort, scale. They ordered a custom sectional sofa, vast in its sweep, deep in its cushions, clad in imported leather. It arrived 7 months after ordering, was installed, and for a moment there was applause. Then the reality set in.
The sofa consumed the living room. It blocked the view lines, cut the space in half, left no graceful path for circulation. Every other element such as rugs, lamps, tables looked like toys beside it.
The cost was not only the price of the sofa. It was the further 9 months of delay while a replacement was commissioned and built, the cost of moving and storage, the repainting required when the walls were scuffed during removal, trying to find a buyer for the original special-order piece.
Lesson: Luxury is proportion. A room breathes when its elements are in balance. Always plan with scale mock ups, tape on floors, and trusted measurements. Bigger is not always better.
