A fine band of Tulipwood, Ebony and Sycamore frames it, while the grain arrests one’s eye with its wild figurings and imagery. A cut-and-buffed mirror lacquer seals the surface, bringing every movement of the timber into crisp focus.
Inside, the solid timber structure is trimmed in soft suede so documents sit with calm authority.
Every touchpoint is engineered: handmade catches and fittings in hard 18-carat gold plate - precise, satisfying under the thumb. A hand-stitched ostrich-skin handle completes the piece - supple, strong, unmistakably bespoke.
