Each piece is finished with a very durable, high gloss clear lacquer that has been hand-cut and buffed to give a mirror finish. The underneath of each item is finished with a protective leather pad with hand skived and folded edges.

The Shagreen we use in our products is tanned and dyed using natural pigment. It’s environmentally friendly and created from commercially discarded skins of farmed stingray that are neither endangered nor threatened and are originally harvested as a food source. Materials used in our products are not included in the list of C.I.T.E.S (Convention International Trade of Endangered Species of Flora and Fauna).
