This very special luxurious box from the Boucher & Co Collection is handmade with meticulous attention to detail.
The exterior is enveloped with a most unusual speckled blue Vellum and capped at each end with solid bronzed curved plates inlaid with magnificently figured fumed Eucalyptus in a sunset, slip-matched pattern with an inlaid bronzed semicircle. The amazing top of the box is made from individual triangular shaped segments of wood wrapped in vellum and assembled to form a sunset pattern finishing in an inlaid bronzed semicircle.
A custom made and fitted bronzed escutcheon conceals a handmade lock.
The interior has four compartments precision fitted with a luxurious tan coloured Italian leather. The two end compartments have fully leathered lift off lids with handmade bronzed knobs. There is also a beautiful, leathered lift-out compartment with custom made bronzed ends.
The box is polished with a very durable clear lacquer.
Signed and engraved with the registered number.
